Description
Stanley Grenz asserts that ethics has gained a new sense of urgency in the postmodern condition. Grenz presents an ethical dilemma from Star Trek: The Next Generation as an example of how postmodern ethics is rooted in individual communities and lacks a foundational, universal moral consensus. He answers why in a pluralistic setting the ethic rooted in God's character and the community gathered around Jesus the Christ is constructive and worthy of being offered to the world in its quest for community.
